I have loved Fiesta ware since I was a little girl. I finally purchased my dishes this summer through Zesty Dishes and Save on Seconds. I decided to buy as many colors as possible so that if I ever find a vintage piece, I am not tied into one color. I have mostly brights but have some pastels and my table has never look more colorful. I love the way Fiesta looks great on a formal or casual table.
I too love all the fiesta colours and like saving on seconds! I have a VERY LARGE HEAVY white shabbychic armoire in my kitchen that is the home to me beloved Fiestaware and when I open up the doors....what a beautiful sight to behold! ;) I have every colour since 2000 and a few vintage I can afford. I add the new colour yearly and LOVE them all. I have pastels and brights...the jewel tones and darker/drab shades too. I buy extra serving pieces along w/my 5pps each year. It's growing.
I love my Fiesta, too, even though I have pieces all in white and a few in persimmon. One item I wish they made is a bread and butter plate. I use my Fiesta for every day, and also for special occasions. With big dinners like Thanksgiving, it is helpful to have a bread & butter plate. The salad plates are a bit too large for this purpose. Does anyone else agree with me?
