I am not worried about the lead. I know some people are worried about the radioactive red. There are a couple of great videos about the radioactive red at http://www.fiestawarecollectorscorner.com
I especially like the fact that you can cook food in the microwave (and oven) using fiestaware. We used to nuke food in plastic containers all the time, but now it has been shown to leak plastic into the actual food. Yikes! Wish I knew that ten years ago! At least I can feel safe microwaving in my fiestaware.
